Backlogs have a way of piling up. Sometimes I come across photos I never processed and feel the urge to finally do something with them.

From an Easter walk, I came back with several dozen shots. Today I processed three of them. They may not be the kind of images people hang on their walls, but I have a soft spot for these "alternative takes". I love the texture of the feathers and the poses this mute swan struck while preening.
